COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course provides a comprehensive overview of common residential kitchen appliances, including gas and electric ranges, dishwashers, and garbage disposals. Participants will learn about the mechanical and electrical components, operations, cycles, functions, and troubleshooting techniques for these appliances, with a focus on design principles, installation, and reading wiring diagrams. *Please note that this session does not include the refrigerator, which is covered separately in its own course

LEARNING OUTCOMES
● Understand the four basic cycles of  a dishwasher.
 ● Identify the major components of  each appliance.
 ● Learn common preventive maintenance procedures.
● Troubleshoot commonly received work orders

Este curso práctico ofrece una visión integral de los electrodomésticos residenciales de cocina más comunes, incluyendo estufas de gas y eléctricas, lavavajillas y trituradores de basura. Los participantes aprenderán sobre los componentes mecánicos y eléctricos, operaciones, ciclos, funciones y técnicas de solución de problemas de estos electrodomésticos, con un enfoque en los principios de diseño, la instalación y la lectura de diagramas eléctricos. *Tenga en cuenta que esta sesión no incluye el refrigerador, el cual se cubre por separado en su propio curso
