During the 2019 session, language was added to Florida Statutes to increase human trafficking awareness by imposing various requirements on public lodging establishments. The requirements go into effect on January 1, 2021.

FAA's government affairs team and legal counsel will discuss these new requirements and how your company can prepare to comply during FAA's upcoming webinar titled, "Human Trafficking Awareness Requirements: What Multifamily Needs to Know" on July 9 at 10 a.m. This informative session will also feature a panel discussion with special guest Brenden Doherty, Deputy Director for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation's (DBPR) Division of Hotels & Restaurants.
