Professional Bio
Lisa began her career in property management in 2001 as a leasing consultant at Windmeadows Apartments here in Gainesville. She appreciated being able to use her excellent customer service skills while learning everything she could about marketing and the leasing industry. She survived three “Rush” seasons while also attending Santa Fe College and working as a server and hostess.
In 2003, she moved to Panama City Beach, where she was Leasing Manager at Harbour Green Apartments, a luxury community where she experienced a different side of leasing and deeper resident relationships. In 2005 she enjoyed a brief but successful career as a Realtor with Arlyle Realty, where she also helped with marketing campaigns for the company and its development projects.
She moved back to Gainesville not long before her son was born in June 2007. Shortly after, she became Property Manager at Summit House Condominiums with Union Properties. She loved the challenge of running an office solo and overseeing both the rental and maintenance side of the property. She also got a taste of association management, as she had to work closely with the Condominium Association throughout her time there.
Her daughter was born in 2008 and in 2009 she decided to stay home with her kids for a while. During this time, she became very involved in her Homeowners Association in Hammock Ridge. As chairman of the Social Committee, she organized community events and developed and published community newsletters.
In 2011, she gladly reentered the workforce as Property Manager for Pine Forest Homes, where she remains today. She has gradually taken on more and more responsibility and now handles the management and bookkeeping for Pine Forest Homes as well as its three sister companies. Meanwhile, she is President of her Homeowners Association and involved with the PTA and Cub Scouts. Recently, she has become more involved with the NCFAA, including the Charity Bowling event, Holiday Party and Advisory Council.
