EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES SANDBAG LOCATIONS, INFORMATION LINE
The Marion County Emergency Management Operations Center is currently monitoring Hurricane Ian and has announced nine sandbag locations within Marion County. These locations will be operational until 7:00 p.m. today. They will reopen Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and continue until operations are shut down. These sandbag locations are self-serve, and officials are asking that citizens limit their consumption to 10 bags a vehicle.

The Marion County Emergency Management Citizen’s Information Line 352-369-7500 is operational until 8:00 p.m. and will reopen at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
